Bout of Books 10 {Sign-Up and Goals}
Okay lovelies, it is that time of year again. Time for Bout of Books, this will be my third time participating, and I'm really excited. This year's Bout of Books will go from May 12 to the 18. The last Bout of Books, back in January I didn't do too well. But I will be done with tutoring my students this week, so I will have a bit more time to get some reading. Also I am participating in the Summer Reading Challenge with BookSparks and will be doing a book review for them next week, so I definitely need to get my Reading Challenge started. :)
So here it is my Sign-Up and Goal Post for Bout of Books. Here is a little blurb about Bout of Books, make sure to check out the website for more information.
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 12th and runs through Sunday, May 18th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 10 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team
Time Devoted to Reading:
Like I said my I will be finishing with tutoring with my students so I will have all my evenings open to reading. I will also try my very best to participate in some challenges. Those are always fun.
My Goals:
- Complete at least 2 books, but setting my eye on 4 books.
- Participate in at least 4 challenges.
- Now that I have a twitter, I hope to participate in some Twitter chats.
Books to read:
Love and other Foreign Words by Erin McCahan
Cure for the Common Break Up by Beth Kendrick
Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay
Keeping the House by Ellen Baker
Have you ever participated in a Read-A-Thon?
I would if I could get in the habit of just sitting down and reading a book but i just pick it up ever so often
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like so much fun! If I could ever get through reading "A Winter's Tale" I would love to participate in something like this! Unfortunately this book is taking me forever... I just can't get into it
