Summer Songs 2014 {Top 10}

Okay so we must agree that every Summer has its song? You know the ones. The ones with catchy lyrics, beats that make you want to dance. For some that song becomes so annoying, because it gets to much airplay. For others that song, makes you smile every time you hear it because it reminds you of all the fun times you had that summer, or when that song is being played. Which ever side you are in, you have to admit music is amazing. 
Here are my Top 10 Summer Songs of 2014, so far.
//one//  La La La - Shakira

Shakira and the soccer World Cup go together perfectly. The World Cup is starting this weekend, so I think it will be playing during the World Cup coverage all summer long. Wooo!!! :)  Check out her Spanish version here. 
//two// We Are One (Ole Ola ) - Pitbull

Pitbull!! and Jennifer Lopez!! and the World Cup!! Yes love it. 
//three// Wild Wild Love - Pitbull and G.R.L

Another Pitbull song. I love these girls too. The song is so catchy and upbeat. And Pitbull is sexy.
//four// Problem - Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea

Can we just talk about the vocals that Ariana has. This girl can take it up there. Loving this song. 
//five// Fancy - Iggy Azalea

People are throwing hate at Iggy, but I really like her songs. I think she is really talented. :) 
//six// Summer - Calvin Harris

You really can't have summer without this song or Calvin Harris.
//seven// First Love - Jennifer Lopez

I just love this song. And Jennifer looks better than ever. Whenever I hear this song I just want to dance. 
//eight// Am I Wrong? - Nico & Vinz

So this song has been released since April 2013, why is it barely playing on the radio, I love this song. 
//nine// Rude - MAGIC!

This song is so cute. If you listen to the lyrics is about a marriage proposal. I love the beat and the sound, and the lyrics.

Do Something New

Happy First Saturday of the YEAR!!!!
So today I'm linking up with the amazing Brittany over at Life Changes for her Do Something New monthly Link-up!! She is challenging us to try to do something new ever month. Fun, right? Join us, follow Brittany's blog and try something new. :)   I'm the person who likes routines and sticking with what I know and rarely do I try something new. Boo!! But with my New Year's resolution to try new things, and being spontaneous and putting myself out there more, I think Brittany's link-up didn't come at a more perfect year. 
So I'll begin my first month with something easy, and then hopefully I can (or if you can help me) come up with more fun new things to try the following months. :) 
My Do Something New of the month is to Cook a Healthier Dish at least once a week for my family. More veggies, less fast food. This is the time for all of us to eat a little healthier and my mom is on board. So stay tuned for some healthier dishes. :)  Have any suggestions on what I can try out next month? Or any yummy recipes? What new things are you trying? I wanna know :)

Rockin' Ever After {Disney on Ice 2014}

Who does not love Disney? I love Disney!!! So when my cousin said she had extra tickets to see Disney on Ice, I was the first one who said me (like a little girl). lol.  This show was Disney on Ice Rockin' Ever After. And it was amazing and magical. I had a blast going with my cousin's family. :) 

The show started off with our hosts of the night Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Donald. And we also saw Pinocchio and the Ugly Stepsisters from Cinderella do a mini show. 
Then the main show started with the four Princesses: Ariel, Rapunzel, Merida and Belle. I was so excited, I grew up with The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. And they were one of my favorite movies. And I loved the new additions to princesses, Rapunzel from Tangled and Merida from Brave, who are the princess my little nieces and nephews are obsessed with. 
It was amazing, the only time I took my eyes off the rink was to see the kids faces. My niece, Nati had gone to Disney on Ice earlier in the year, so she thought she was going to see the same thing, but no they were all different acts, and she was totally into it. 
The show was full of pyrotechnics, amazing choreography, crazy lifts and turns, beautiful costumes, crazy props, and the same songs from the movies. The girls were even singing to them. 
Although my favorite princess of all time is Belle, I must say Ariel's show was the best!!! It was mine and Sammy's fave. The whole sea show was so captivating!

Nati is obsessed with Rapunzel, so she loved her show. 

 There was a lot of crazy pyrotechnics things with Merida and her bow. Merida's show was silly with her three little brothers, which I enjoyed watching, and her silly suitors who were funny. But I did wish they would've showed the bear, I think that was an important part in the story.

This Week: What is one thing you will do differently in 2014? Why do you want to change that one thing? 

HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody!!!! I hope you have all started off 2014 surrounded by the people you love. I can't believe that 2013 passed us by, and that 2014 is here already. 2013 had its downs, tough times, and some tears, but the ups, the smiles, and the good times have overshadowed all of them. 2013 was good, but I want 2014 to be even better. 

I just turned 24 last week, so I want 2014 to be the year where I can start accomplishing some of the goals and dreams that I still haven't completed. In order for this to happen, I need to start putting myself out there, more. I'm a little shy, and although I feel like taken a huge step forward since like my high school years, there is still time for improvement. 

So this 2014: 

•  I vow to myself to put myself out there in the world. 
• I vow to be even more determine in myself when looking for jobs and figuring out what career path to take. 
• I vow to be more open to new ideas, new nights out and even nights in. 
• I vow to be more out there when it comes to dating. 
• I vow to be more open within my friendships. 
• I vow to not be too stressed if something didn't happen the way I wanted it to or when I planned to. 
• I vow to always be filled with love and happiness towards my friends and family, and to myself.
• I vow to be more confident in myself, as a person and as a blogger. 
• I vow to be more open to myself and my followers, and to become a better blogger.
• I vow to not worry to much about financial issues, so that they won't stop me from enjoying life.
• I vow to try new things, go to new places. 
• I vow to be more spontaneous.
•  and finally I vow to have as much fun as possible!!

Goodbye 2013!!! Bring it on 2014!!!
