Summer Song!!

Going off my post from the other day, SUMMER is ending! Some of the students are starting school tomorrow!!

I had a lot of fun this summer. I went to VEGAS, my first time ever as a 21+ year old with my amazing friends!! I went back to the Bay Area on a road trip, which was amazing! Went to three weddings which were all beautiful. Went to the beach and went bar hopping, woot for DAY PARTIES!!! Hung out with my high school and college friends! Had amazing get together with my cousins and family!

Every summer has a theme song! When I think SUMMER 2013 I think of this one!! My favorite song right now. AND THEY ARE SOOOOO SEXY!!!

This past year, I was such an X-Factor fan (which I'm so excited to see this new season). Anyways, when Fifth Harmony was formed I was in love with them. They are my guilty pleasure. And when their new song came out I was all over it. I miss Girl Groups, Remember Spice Girls, Eden's Crush, Destiny's Child, 3LW, Cheetah Girls, PussyCat Dolls, Danity Kane.I LOVED THEM..  Like Simon Cowell said there is a hole in the market for these girls, I just really hope they make it big!! **  fangirling time finished. Check them out. They are talented.

What's your favorite Summer 2013 song? What about your all time favorite summer song!

Fashion in the Office

Seeing that I had an interview today I decided to write a quick post on Interview and Working outfits.

I get super nervous about interviews but I look forward to outfits the most. lol. Head over to Fab5Adventures to read my post on my interview and some interview tips, here.

But on this post we will talk about some fashion. Like I mention I love getting dressed up. I loved adding new pieces to my closet even if its just on my Pinterest closet. I feel that it is really important to look good when going to an interview. It is when your future employer will get a first impression from you, and of course we all want to show an intelligent, fashionable person.

This is what I wore this morning. I felt that this position was on the laid back side, and decided not to wear a suit, but rather a nice salmon/pink button down blouse at Old Navy, with some grey jeans that I bought at Forever21 (the color makes it more professional than regular scenes) and some low nude heels that I got at Payless.

When choosing outfits to wear, we have to keep in mind what kind of job we are interviewing for.
Whether we need to wear a two piece suit, or whether we can wear some nice dress pants with a cute blouse, or jeans or blazer. Think whether the job is more creative so you can play with some color like a colored blazer, or whether is more professional/executive where you can use color as your accents in accessories.

Check this website, Fashion Club. They have a cool article on how to pair up a simple piece and wear it based on the kind of job. And boys there are some types on here too.

Also check out my pinterest boards to get some ideas. :

It's August!! That means school Septemeber is coming soon, which means school is startting school. Although I have been out of school for 8 months, I always associated August with the end of summer. A knock on the door... {Creative Writing Tuesday}

A knock on the door in the middle of the night never means good news…
Krysten couldn't go back to sleep after Tony had left to pick up Marissa. She was turning and turning looking at the clock by the night stand. It read 11:37. 20 minutes had passed since she last checked. 40 since he had left. Where were they?

Then she heard it. The knock on the door. Someone had once told her. A knock on the door in the middle of the night never means good news. She waited, then she heard it again. The doorbell. She got up, grabbed Julian's bat at the top of the stairs and went to the down. She opened the door.

"Krysten!!"

"What? What's wrong, Melanie?"

"You have to go to the hospital." Melanie, the next door neighbor said. Her eyes were puffy. Her heart skipping. Her nice dress all dismantled. Barefoot. Her husband rushing across the lawn.

"Why? Is everything okay?" Krysten was seeing everything in a blur.

"It's Tony and..."

"Marissa. Where? What happened?" She said running inside for the car keys. "What happened?"

"We saw them on our way from the restaurant. The street was closed. We got off and we saw him. Marissa was being carried into the ambulance, and they were trying to get Tony out." Melanie shrieked.

So I'm really determine to continue writing on my blog on a daily basis, we will see how that goes. :). I think the easiest way that I'm going to get used to writing on a regular basis if I have a routine, a calendar, something to write every day.

I came up with Creative Writing Tuesday. Every Tuesday I will write a post based on a prompt for 10 minutes.Yes only 10 minutes, so don't judge please. :)

I saw this specific prompt on here and it triggered my imagination. Haha. When I was little I wanted to be a writer, but I'm not very good at writing, but I will definitely give it a try. :)

How did you start your blog? Do you have any tips?

I write on Fridays at Fab5 but I would like to write everyday, so here I go again!! :) Let's do this!! :) I will try my very, very best to write every day on here!!

P.S - This last Friday I wrote a D.I.Y post at Fab5 with a giveway!! Check it out and you would win the cute clutch I made. :)
