#giveit100 {Day 1}

So I'm pretty sure most of you have stumbled, read, and saw all about this inspiring woman, LaKeisha, who challenged herself to change her lifestyle and lose some weight. If you haven't watch her video, watch below.

And read her story here. She gave it 100 days, she went to the gym 100 days and she lost weight, and 2 dress sizes. . By challenging herself, she lost the pounds she wanted to, but she gained so much more happiness and confidence. Her demeanor changed, and at the end of the video we see a much happier LaKeisha. You are an inspiration to me LaKeisha!

I know I've mentioned it before on the blog, how I've struggled with my weight since I was young. But seeing LaKeisha's inspiring journey, I wanted and needed to try it  something.

So for the next 100 days (150 days to Vegas Trip in June) I want to get out of the 200 club (in Lakeisha's words). That is a 50 pound loss!! 2-3 pounds a week. Morning jogs, Night workouts. No chips or fast food! No soda. Lots of water and Healthier meals. I know it's going to be hard, and there are probably going to be times where I might want to give up, but I can't give up!!

Reminder to myself

Day 1:
Today I did a 30 minute walking and jogging workout from Couch to 5K. Gahh it was hard, I wanted to give up.
Then 30 minute walking laps around the park and the walk home.

  1. I saw this video. Everyone is talking about it. I wish we could work out together. I need the motivation. I just want to get toned up. It is so hard to do it alone. I started my new workout today and didn't make it thru even half of it. Like you said it was so hard you wanted to give up...well I GAVE up.
