Traveling {Ten Favorite Things}

This month's topic is Traveling. Here are my Ten Favorite Things I love about traveling, who I love traveling with, why I love traveling and why I want to travel.










//one// Seeing new places. I been to Mexico to my dad's town, and to Cabo, to Las Vegas, and to Palms Springs, but other than that I haven't see too many places. But just the idea of seeing new places is amazing. 
//two// Pictures. I love taking pictures. And I enjoy looking back at the pictures and reminisce on the fun times we were able to capture. 
//three// Food and Drink. I'm such a foodie, so trying new food that we usually don't have at home is always a must when traveling.

//four// Friends. Traveling with friends is the best thing ever. You get to catch up, bond, do fun things, dress up, dress down, its like a big sleep over. 
//five// Family. Family trips are also awesome. We, as a family, haven taken much trips other than Mexico, but those were always great. 
//six// Memories. Stories and Experiences. Sometimes the pictures don't capture the whole experience of the trip, I love when we can get together and share some of the memories we shared during the trip. 
//seven// Cabo has been one of my favorite vacation so far. The water was clear, the sun was amazing. 

//eight// Roadtrips are also another one of my favorite ways to travel. Fun roadtrip games and music. Bonding time. Trying to keep each other awake.

//nine// Time away. Traveling is most times taken to get away from our daily routine, and for us to recharge ourselves with some relaxation. 
//ten// And finally the places I would like to Travel to, these places have been on my bucket list ever since I could remember. Santorini, Greece; Italy; Paris, France; Brazil; Puerto Rico; Dominican Republic; New York; Miami;

California, the 5 things I want to do

Today's A - Z Letter is C: C is for .... California.  A couple of days ago, I read that my blogger friend Gina over at Gina's Agenda will be starting a SoCal Travel Guide. I got so excited. I've lived here in California my whole life and I love it. But I never have done really big touristy things, or really explore much of my State. So hopefully Gina's Travel Guide will get me to visit new places, so I can't wait.  But for now, here are my Top 5 Touristy Things I would love to do in California. 
//one// Visit the National Parks. Redwood National Park, Sequoia National Park, Yosemite National Park. the oldest tallest and biggest tree live here. I want to get lost, but not literally, in the nature.

//two// Venice Beach. I've never been to Venice Beach. I have always wanted to stroll down the boardwalk, and see all the different vendors and people watch.

//three//  Runyon Canyon. One of the famous hike trails in L.A, you can spot celebrities working out here.. You can see amazing views from the top of the mountain. I've been dying to go hiking here, a visit is soon to be made.

//four// Napa Valley. The land of wine. I've been wine tasting in Napa once, but I would love to go again.

//five// Griffith Observatory. Where you can see more of L.A without the smog. You can see the stars from up there. I've always wanted to go.

Sunday Social {One Way Ticket to Greece .. please}

Gahh..Last Sunday of February. Is it just me, or are the days passing us by??
I'm excited for this upcoming weekend.. San Diego bound with my friends!!

1. Favorite breakfast food I love having a homemade breakfast sandwich: scrambled eggs, ham or sausage and cheese and some ketchup. :) Also I know its bad, but I love potatoes: homefries, or hasbrowns!!!!

2. Best way to spend a free day Same as my lazy days. Watching TV shows/movies. I've been just going out the house to read, Starbucks and the park are some of my favorite places to chill and read. 

3. Airline ticket to anywhere in the world….where would you go and why? Greece and Italy!! I have dreamed of going there since I was little. The waters of Santorini seem like Paradise. And the culture, the language and the food in Italy sound amazing. See the Top Ten Places I Want to Visit Before I Die.

4. You can only leave the house with one thing…what is it? I would say my phone. Yep, it's hard to admit, but I think I'm one of those people who can't live without her phone.... and maybe a book. 

5. How do you take your coffee? I've recently turned to coffee. So I'm just exploring the coffee world. But I do know that I DO NOT like my coffee black. I need some sugar and flavor in there. :)  If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Top Ten...Places I Want To Visit Before I Die

My dream since I was little all I wanted was to visit the world. But who doesn't want to visit right? I haven't been out of California much, only to Mexico for vacations: Cabo San Lucas, San Felipe, Rosarito, and Michoacan (a 3 day car ride) and to Vegas!! In college, I didn't take the advantage to study abroad, which I regret everyday since graduating. But here are the top 10 places I want to visit before I die.

United States:

New York City: I blame the movies, TV shows, Gossip Girl, fashion, books!! I'm in love with this city without even visiting it!! I love the culture, that I see through the media.

Miami: When I think of Miami, I think party, tanned skin, beaches, crazy fun!!

New Orleans: I feel like there's a lot of history there!! Frech Quarter, Mardi Gras

Europe:

Santorini, Greece: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for introduced me to Santorini. And I fell in love with its white and blue city!!
